Hi guys! Made a really simple blog post today! It gives you a peak of the sort of things I write in my Happiness Journal every day :)
I made a blog post about Sebastian Masuda’s art exhibition in NYC
"Colorful Rebellion" -Seventh Nightmare-
I have lots of pics of Yuka from 6%DokiDoki and of the exhibition as well as a description on the live art performance! Hope you check it out xoxo
The pink silver skirt is what I want to buy so badly… the total comes to about $31 which is kind of a lot for a skirt but like…it’s so cute…and I want it really badly T ^ T
I hope I can get money soon :c
I won’t link you guys, now. Just because whenever I link stuff on my blog(s) they sell out before I can buy them.. I hope you understand!
So, when I sell my soul to buy this skirt I will write a review and link you guys… fair enough?
for the people that want to know where to buy this skirt
I PROMISED YOU DIDN’T I?
Also it’s exciting because it’s the first giveaway i do for 2014 ^.^
Now let’s get down to it! These three little cuties are going to find new homes. There will be three winners, so one alpacka for each winner~ ^^
(Don’t take them too harsh)
- You don’t have to follow me, but doing so will give you three entries
- Likes don’t count but you can like if you want
- reblog as many times as you want, 1 reblog is 1 entry. But don’t spam your followers ^.^
- Preferely no give-away blogs please.. That kind of takes away the fun of it.
The giveaway ends on march 6th at 10 pm gmt + 1.
-also the pirate-alpacka photo is taken from the store since he haven’t arrived to me yet. But i am sure he’ll be very pretty. don’t worry. The other two is here and oh so cute.
(Even though they’re a little bit to not-metal. But that’s okay.)
This was asked for last time so i thought i’d add some more chances for entries.
- You can get FOUR entries for following me on instagram (but beware.. I post weird stuff there too which is why it’s an entire 4 entries) link here.
- Submit me a pretty drawing you’ve made. That would make 2 entries. I like drawings~
- Follow me on twitter. This would give three entries since well. My twitter is a sad story. LINK.
That’s enough extras.. It feels weird .-.
NOW GOOD LUCK!
Do you like cool pink, white and a little touch of blue? Of course you do! Here’s a super saturated, full-color, roses and flowers and cream and pink furisode for Coming-of-Age Day. Note that the model has light reddish-brown hair instead of black—they wanted to push the warmth and lightness of this kimono, even down to her light coral colored lipstick. Black hair would have been a strong focal point with a furisode that lacks contrast. On the other hand, you could use dark hair with this kimono to keep the viewer on your face rather than wandering around the furisode.
I’m still a little unclear on the significance of the fur ball on her obijime, except that it echoes the fur ball/tassels of a man’s haori (coat) tie, but they seem to be in fashion as an accessory in recent years.
Hi everyone! Today’s かっこいい lesson is about kanzashi (簪), hair ornaments used in traditional Japanese hairstyles.
Bira-bira - composed of dangling, tinkling metal strips and/or long chains of silk flowers.
Kogai - an ornament made up of a “sword and a sheath”, usually sold as a set with:
Kushi (comb kanzashi) comb hair ornament with delicate decorations.
Tama - Ball style kanzashi, with prongs to stick on the hairstyle.
Kanoko Dome -heavily decorated dome-like hair ornament usually place towards the top-back of the traditional hairstyle.
Ōgi - fan-shaped, fancily decorated kanzashi, with dangling aluminum strips.
Tsumami Kanzashi - Literally, ‘folded fabric hair ornament’, usually shaped as flowers (hana kanzashi).
